Architectural Designer | Multi-Family & Luxury Senior Living | Dallas, TX

We seek for our client a highly motivated Architectural Designer to assist Project Architects, Project Designers and Project Managers in the execution of upcoming projects. In this role, you will be involved with the development of projects from concept design through Construction Documents and will be responsible for the coordination of all significant drawing sets and packages. The ideal candidate would have a balance of passion and technicality. A Designer who is creative, fun, and caring would be an excellent fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and schedule architectural drawing sets
- Create REVIT documents and templates for company-wide use.
- Developing the REVIT standard for design documentation
- Prepare presentations and documentation, schematic design, design development, and construction documents
- Collect, organize, and evaluate design related data of existing locations
- Coordinate interior related consultant activities and documentation as needed
- Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment
- Prepare or supervise the installation of designs
- Create detailed elevations for Architects/Construction
- Provided materials and specification research
- Sketching and physical modeling
- Attend architect/construction meetings with Sr Designers providing valuable input
- Ensure company is meeting all regulatory compliance for each state or municipality
- Oversee SmartSheet planning/scheduling, ensure timelines and goals are met
Qualifications
- 5+ of experience in commercial design or architecture design
- Proficiency in Revit
- Portfolio for review during interview
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in REVIT with the ability to create detailed elevations
- Ability to create REVIT templates and documentation standards for a company
- Excellent problem-solving, analytic, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and flexible style
- High-level of integrity and dependability
- Ability to learn and use an in-house project management database
