Senior Lead Architect – Licensed
Licensure: Licensed Architect (RA) in Texas
Working Style/Location: Remote Working with the ability to travel to projects when needed (company HQ in Texas)
Join our client’s dynamic team as the Senior Lead Architect/Registered Architect in Texas, where you'll be at the forefront of designing innovative commercial spaces, with a focus on healthcare and multifamily housing. You'll lead the entire design process, working closely with clients to transform their visions into cutting-edge architectural solutions. With your technical expertise, you'll ensure compliance with all building codes and regulations while coordinating seamlessly with engineers and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Lead the design process from initial concept through detailed design phases for commercial buildings. Specifically Healthcare and Multifamily Housing projects.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and objectives and translate them into innovative design solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Ensure all designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory standards.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other professionals to integrate structural and technical systems into overall design concepts.
- Construction Administration: Oversee construction activities to ensure designs are implemented according to specifications and quality standards.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Develop construction documents and specifications
- Conduct site visits to assess potential project constraints and opportunities
- Renovate existing structures while ensuring compliance with building codes
- Lead site visits with contractors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in architecture
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management
- Licensure: Licensed Architect (RA) in Texas
- Proficiency in software including Revit, ArchiCAD, Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating and project management
- Experience with negotiation processes in architectural projects
- Ability to draft, build, and renovate structures effectively
- Strong design and visualization skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
