Working Style: In-office with the ability to travel to clients/project sites when needed
Licensure: Registered Architect / NCARB
We seek for our client a dynamic and skilled Senior Project Architect to join their growing team at our Naples, Florida office. The Senior Project Architect will lead a team of architects and designers in the development and execution of complex architectural projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong design portfolio, extensive project management experience, and exceptional leadership skills. The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of project development, from conceptual design through construction administration, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the architectural team through all project phases.
- Oversee the development of design concepts and construction documents.
- Ensure design integrity and quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Supervise, mentor, and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Present design proposals and project updates to clients.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct design reviews and quality checks at various project stages.
- Implement best practices for project delivery and documentation.
- Address and resolve design and construction issues promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.
- Participate in client meetings and networking events to promote the firm’s services.
- Contribute to the firm’s strategic planning and growth initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture
- 10+ years of architecture experience
- NCARB or State License (RA in Florida)
- AIA network and association participation
- Proficient in REVIT and other design-related software, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience guiding, managing, and leading team members
- Experience managing projects from concept to completion, conducting design reviews and quality checks throughout all stages of the project
- Experience managing projects schedules, budgets, and team resources
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Ability to travel to clients or project sites when needed
