We are seeking for our client an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Kitchen Designer for their design team in Brooklyn. Be an essential part of their continued growth and join an ever-growing team of passionate individuals, working to conquer the global kitchen industry. In this role you will…
- Perform in-store and online consultations for clients seeking expert advice for their kitchen projects, specifically related to design, color and space.
- Ensure that every person who you come in contact with is engaged in a positive manner, listened to, and assisted in whatever way is most appropriate.
- Answer phones and respond to email and online questions in a timely manner.
- Maintain a database of potential and existing clients in order to provide world-class customer service.
- Perform opening/closing tasks in the showroom to ensure a pristine showroom condition.
Qualifications
- 5+ years kitchen and bath design experience
- Proficient with 2020 design software
- Experience working with custom kitchen cabinetry
- CKBD certification preferred but not required
- Excellent client relationship skills
- Exceptional communication and listening skills
- Knowledgeable of interior design space planning and residential construction
- Present in a professional manner and enjoy connecting with new people
- Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
- Highly organized, able to manage all aspects of projects
- Have a positive attitude and enjoy helping and serving clients
- Possess good time management skills to meet deadlines
- Must be a proactive problem solver and detail-oriented
Compensation and Benefits
- Strong Base Salary + Commission Structure + Excellent Benefits Package
- The annual base salary is based on experience, certifications, and portfolio
