Key Responsibilities
- Provide conceptual design and design support documentation (Conceptual physical and digital models, renderings, diagrams, technical drawings) on a variety of building projects
- Create, develop, oversee and revise construction documents, drawings and renderings for various residential projects
- Negotiate critical and controversial issues with appropriate parties
- Collaborate with other lead professionals to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with project expectations
- Ensure work meets clients’ requirements in a timely manner
- Work directly with vendors, permitting, construction staff, and more to ensure projects are on time and properly handled throughout production and construction phases.
- Manage the work of architecture and interior design staff that complete design or production work, and construction documents
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- 3-5 years of professional architecture experience
- Professional licensure or in pursuit is a plus but not required
- Previous residential architecture experience – exterior and interior is ideal
- Experience managing construction documentation and plans production for projects
- Ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects simultaneously
- AutoCAD, Revit and Sketch-up proficiency
- Ability to work well with others especially under deadline situations
- Capable of traveling to and from project sites for attending client, project and construction meetings
- Ability to access existing and new project sites for observation, investigation and evaluation purposes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Visual acuity to perform responsibilities
