We seek a dedicated and experienced Accounting Manager to join our client’s team in a full-time, remote capacity. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of clients in the interior design industry. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and analyzing financial statements, conducting journal entries, and providing financial guidance and support to ensure our client's financial health and compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Operations Management:Â Oversee daily financial operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Financial Statement Preparation:Â Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to provide accurate and timely financial information.
- Journal Entries:Â Conduct and supervise journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Financial Guidance and Support:Â Provide strategic financial guidance and support to senior management and other departments to aid in decision-making and financial planning.
- Compliance:Â Ensure all financial activities comply with accounting principles and regulatory requirements, including GAAP and other relevant standards.
- Team Management:Â Supervise and mentor accounting team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in accounting preferred
- 5 years of working experience in accounting; experience working with interior design firms highly sought after
- Financial Knowledge:Â Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial management practices.
- Analytical Skills:Â Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insights.
- Journal Entries and Reporting:Â Proven experience with journal entries and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of and experience with Studio Designer software.
- Technical Proficiency:Â Proficient in financial software, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
- Sales Tax Filing:Â Experience in sales tax filing and compliance.
- Attention to Detail:Â Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all financial tasks.
- Independence:Â Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely with minimal supervision.
- Team Management:Â Proven ability to manage and lead a team, ensuring productivity and professional growth.
