We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Architectural Detailer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will specialize in creating precise construction documentation for residential projects using Autodesk Revit. This role is pivotal in translating design concepts into detailed, buildable drawings, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce detailed architectural drawings and construction documents using Revit, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
- Participate in design coordination meetings, providing technical insights and resolving drawing discrepancies.
- Maintain and update Revit models, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all project documentation.
- Support the development and implementation of office Revit standards and protocols.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in architectural drafting, with a focus on residential projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit; experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
- Strong understanding of architectural detailing, construction methods, and building systems.
- Familiarity with Florida building codes and residential construction practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with BIM 360 or other cloud-based collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification processes.
- Ability to produce 3D visualizations and renderings.
