Type: Full-Time
Working Style: Remote in territory
Travel Required: Yes, in territory
We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our client's Western US Sales Team, based remotely in San Francisco. In this role, we’re looking for a motivated self-starter with excellent communication and collaboration skills to grow our market presence, build meaningful relationships, and drive business growth within the local community.
As an Area Sales Manager, you’ll have the autonomy to set and execute sales goals and objectives within the local industry. Your success will be driven by cultivating strong partnerships with our Dealer Partners, the A&D community, End Users, Commercial Real Estate teams, and Government Entities. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with colleagues nationwide to enhance our dealer network, supporting them in expanding and strengthening their business.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Prior sales experience, preferably in the local office furniture industry, providing you with an understanding of dealership sales strategies, market dynamics and an established industry network
- Self-motivated and independent working style
- Team-oriented mindset, collaborating with internal and external partners to drive customer success
- Ability to travel actively within the territory and occasionally (1-4x/year) overseas or other locations for training and conferences
- Adaptable and proactive attitude, with a flexible and solution-oriented approach to diverse tasks
- Base in a central San Francisco location to efficiently navigate the territory and build local relationships
- Beneficial: familiarity of the local office furniture industry, providing with an understanding of dealership sales strategies, market dynamics and an established industry network
