We are seeking a motivated Area Sales Manager for our client who will be responsible for growing and developing the sales and visibility of four showrooms in California. This role will provide leadership and brand awareness while building and developing sales strategies in their territory. This is an exciting opportunity if you are a passionate leader who is focused on team development and elevating an established brand in the stone and tile industry. - Develop the sales strategy and action plans linked to the national strategy
- Define and control budgets by quarter
- Manage showroom managers and salespeople in the US (Training of showroom managers)
- Drive local marketing initiatives and partner with corporate marketing on strategies
- Create weekly detailed reports of business activity
- Demonstrate unquestionable integrity in every aspect of work and dealing with others
- Consistently model desired behaviors and values established by the company
- Respect the diversity of perspectives in discussions and demonstrate an inclusive style
- Effectively build and maintain partnerships with clients, prospects, and people at all levels across the company
- Maintain flexibility and react to change appropriately
- Achieve quantitative and qualitative objectives defined by activity
- Travel up to 50% of the territory
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-7+ years of experience in area sales management
- Experience in sales management, client management, and brand awareness
- Experience in architecture and design products (stone, tile, slab, or high-end retail)
- Experience managing multi-showrooms in a territory (minimum of three)
- Experience managing and the development of sales team members and managers
- Strong understanding of aesthetics and design
- Solution-oriented, self-starter with strong leadership skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to serve, learn, lead, and grow
