Business Development Executive | Architectural Products – Stone & Tile
**Ability to travel to visit clients in the territory - typically 1 day at the showroom, 4 days visiting clients in the territory**

The Business Development Architectural Executive is a skilled level sales position and is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys selling beautiful high-end products and can use their independent judgement and discretion to develop business with little to no supervision! This position is responsible for visiting, promoting, and handling complex sales activities with the trade industry outside our showrooms.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. A bachelor’s degree in business, architecture, interior design, or a related field is preferred.
- Three to five years of sales experience; prior experience working with the trade industry and outside experience required. Knowledge of specifying tile and stone in an A&D application with current market clients is highly preferred. Knowledge of commercial and residential surface specifications is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial spec requirements such as LEED certification, CTS specifications, DCOF and other commercial building code knowledge is a plus. Ability to read Architectural plans is a plus.
- Must have a valid/active driver’s license and be able to travel within designated territory; overnight travel may be required.
- Must be able to work weekend hours as needed.
- Sales driven, goal-oriented and successful at prospecting for new accounts.
- Excellent client service skills, people skills and enjoy building relationships.
- Detailed and excellent follow-through.
- Must have effective communication skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
