Location: Remote in a metropolitan city near a major airport - based ideally in Texas to the West Coast
Travel: Approximately 40%
Role Tyle: Full-time
Industry Focus: Kitchen and Bathroom Showrooms, Manufacturers, and Suppliers
Our client has become a dynamic force among kitchen designers and suppliers of products and services sold by kitchen and bath showrooms, but it has only scratched the surface. The company believes there are massive growth opportunities to help showrooms and manufacturers grow their respective businesses. This Business Development role will be a catalyst for making that happen.
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will have the opportunity and challenge to build upon the company’s position as a leading kitchen business group and change the face of kitchen showroom operations for the better by recruiting and qualifying premier kitchen and bath showrooms to join the company and realize bottom-line returns and benefits they could not possibly achieve on their own. Furthermore, the BDM will also help existing Members maximize their potential volume and other benefits available from the company. This Business Development Manager is a dynamic and forward-thinking professional aiming for the best results for all current and new members.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage Shareholder/Member Relations
- Create a tactical plan to identify target businesses in each market area
- Develop a recruiting package that highlights the unique benefits of membership for premier showrooms
- Review and identify existing members for ShareShift opportunities
- Encourage and assure retention of Shareholders who are in good standing
- Coordinate with Partners to recruit and aid in ShareShift
- Develop and implement programs that create additional value for members and product partners by increasing volume
- Assist and support other Team members
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in business development and account management
- A proven record of sales growth
- Previous experience working within the kitchen and bath industry or architecture, design, and manufacturing industries is preferred
- Account management and pipeline development
- Business development and retention skills
- Ability to multi-task while staying organized
- Excellent presentation skills and outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Integrity beyond reproach
- Ingenuity and open to unorthodox thinking
- Determination and tenacious drive for success
- Intense desire to improve the kitchen showroom industry
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual Salary + Bonus Incentives + Full Benefits Package
