Job Description
Commercial Interior Designer |Â Fort Worth, TXÂ (Hybrid role - office/remote in the area)
**Contract Role**
Our client’s small family-owned firm, with innovative problem solvers containing diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise, seeks a highly creative and technically savvy Interior Designer to join the team. We are looking for someone who is innovative and committed to supporting our team to create a unique experience for our customers.
- This is a contract role - currently up to 40 hours weekly.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule – must be in the area to work in/visit the office
Responsibilities
- Develop interior architectural concepts based on client vision
- Must have strong design and communication skills
- Must be able to collaborate and work well in a team environment
- Prepare detailed interior construction drawings, designs, and color renderings
- Specify and maintain up to date knowledge of commercial products and materials
- Coordinate with project architect and other design consultants throughout construction
- Ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Professional Interior Design or Architecture degree from FIDER/CIDA accredited school
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an architecture or commercial interior design firm required
- Experience in retail or restaurant design preferred
- Knowledge of construction documentation, production and detailing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Corel DRAW Graphics Suite
- Experience with Sketch Up or 3D model program preferred
