Design Consultant | Luxury Showroom | Westwood, MA

As the Design Consultant, you will have the opportunity to enhance your experience in design, customer service, and sales. Our client offers its customers more than the average showroom. The company creates an elevated experience from the moment their clients walk in the door, whether they are picking out a bathroom faucet or getting a full kitchen design. The ideal candidate should have an outgoing personality, value customer service, be knowledgeable and service-oriented, and be determined to close sales while building lasting relationships with new and established customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all customers entering the showroom.
- Qualify customers to efficiently identify how company can meet their needs.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products offered
- Accurately enter all showroom bids and sales using Solar Eclipse and Salesforce
- Utilize the sales tools in Solar Eclipse & Salesforce, including bid follow-up, calling queues, and trouble queues to manage all sales and potential sales.
- Designate all “opportunities” in Salesforce as won, lost (including why), or other.
- Perform site visits for field measures and job site meetings as needed for design services.
- Track order status using the purchasing process in Eclipse and using vendor partner websites where applicable.
- Follow the Purchasing Guide to ensure the proper product procurement methods are used. Procure and ship product as needed.
- Stay current on stocking and inventory levels to maximize sales and provide solutions for the client.
- Clearly explain and sell all available delivery services based on the customer’s needs.
- Continuously meet and exceed sales goals as outlined for the individual consultant.
- Promote all events and sales promotions.
- Maintain relationships with trade contacts to sustain repeat business.
Qualifications
- Minimum Associates Degree. Interior Design or related a plus.
- Experience in home décor & renovation sales (ie, kitchen & bath, furniture, surfaces, lighting, décor).
- Strong command level of cutting-edge technology – various apps, all aspects of virtual meetings, document sharing, CRM, and multi-platform integration.
- Microsoft Office 365 (All aspects of Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Excellent customer service experience
