Digital Sales & Design Consultant | Architectural Products
Remote – with ability to travel to the Showroom

As the Digital Sales and Design Consultant, you will be based in your home office with the ability to travel to the showroom for trainings, product updates, project needs and more. In this role, you will be developing, maintaining and interacting primarily with new and existing online customers via the phone and other forms of electronic communication to increase sales of architectural stone and tile products and/or services. The Digital Sales and Design Consultant provides an exceptional client experience by providing custom architectural product solutions for their project needs, from demonstrating product features and presenting selections that align with their vision. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable engaging clients online, via video and phone.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contact customers through phone calls, emails, and in-person presentations, where applicable, to communicate opportunities and company initiatives.
  2. Tailor programs to meet customer requirements, and close contracts for defined programs.
  3. Collaborate with sales support and other departments including marketing, purchasing, and logistics to facilitate new programs, campaigns, and offerings and to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  4. Ensure that reporting and communications with clients, management and coworkers are timely and align with corporate guidelines.
  5. Sales Generation
    • Develop a client base through proactively engaging with website visitors, phone inquiries, or other lead sources (e.g. Instagram, tradeshows, etc.).
    • Outreach to existing and new accounts to grow them into repeat and/or key accounts.
    • Demonstrate effective sales techniques in the areas of engagement, determining needs, overcoming objections, adding on to the sale, and closing the sale.
    • Achieve assigned sales targets through effective account management and targeting specific clients.
  6. Client Experience
    • Create a welcoming and high-energy vibe that our clients feel when communicating via email or on the phone.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of the company’s products, including custom capabilities, as well as the product lines of third-party vendors.
    • Design and create projects that are consistent with the client’s lifestyle and budget using technical and creative skills in color and space planning.
    • Monitor design and color trends in order to create design solutions and to be an expert resource for clients.
    • Project a favorable image of the company to promote corporate aims and objectives and foster and enhance public recognition of all our areas of endeavor.
  7. Operational Excellence
    • Enter all client orders in accordance with company policy and procedure.
    • Follow up and communicate on all open orders to client; present creative solutions and demonstrate problem-solving skills when product delays occur.
    • Read all communication and material on products or processes from corporate offices. 4. Attend Digital Showroom meetings, participate in vendor training events, share information amongst peers and utilize the website, price book and other marketing materials available.
    • Practice awareness of and compliance with loss prevention and safety procedures.
    • Follow company policies and procedures including attendance, personal conduct, dress code and employee discount.
    • Utilize the team calendar to document scheduled appointments to ensure Digital showroom coverage during business operating hours.

Qualifications
  • Associates or higher degree in business management, architectural design, interior design, industrial management or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in stone, tile, design showroom, or a closely related sales field
  • Stone and tile industry experience is highly preferred
  • Experience in a commission sales position is a plus
  • Computer skills to include MS Office and POS systems
  • Ability to change and adapt to a fast-moving business environment…technological changes and product advancements require an open mind and flexibility to be successful.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed
