Director of Sales – Design-Build Construction
Sector Focus: Residential and some commercial

Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Working Style: Hybrid work flexibility (based on company/project needs)

This is an opportunity for a strategic, procedure-driven sales leader who thrives on building relationships, driving growth, and closing high-value deals while mentoring and developing a high-performing sales team.

The Director of Sales will lead the business development efforts, focusing on generating sales, delivering compelling presentations, and closing high-value projects. To succeed in this role, you will need to be immersed in and have a deep understanding of local building trends, new construction opportunities and methods, and renovation projects happening throughout the market. It is a high-impact, high-visibility role—ideal for a bold, driven sales leader who wants to leave a lasting mark on the design-build industry in the InterMountain West.

We are looking for a people-focused leader with 10+ years of experience, a collaborative mindset, and exceptional strategic thinking to develop and execute winning sales initiatives.

Qualifications & Ideal Traits
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of sales experience in the design-build construction industry or related fields.
  • A proven rainmaker who consistently generates and closes high-value deals.
  • Deep knowledge of new construction and renovations, with an understanding of local building trends in Salt Lake City.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience developing and leading a high-performing sales team.
  • Highly strategic and process-driven, with the ability to build and refine a structured sales operation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth, problem-solving, and innovation.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot CRM and other sales automation tools.
