Join our client’s team as the Director of Sales, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving sales strategy and fostering elite relationships. You will lead the charge in achieving annual sales targets, cultivating strong bonds with top interior designers and architects, and engaging clients through exclusive events and personalized experiences. Collaborate with the international team to expand our brand’s footprint in New York and beyond in the US and make a lasting impact in the world of luxury design.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning & execution to achieve Annual sales target by generating enquiries & timely converting deals in order to achieve quarterly & yearly sales target yet maintaining brand positioning.
- Introduce, build and maintain strong long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with targeted interior designers and architects focused on high-end residential projects.
- Engage IDAs & UHNI clients with in-person meetings, vendor presentations & virtual tour/discussions for sales growth.
- Collaboratively strategize with overseas team & execute marketing plans to build the brand in New York.
- Identifies and expands the relationship with IDAs network beyond New York.
- Plan and execute exclusive events and experiences for clients, such as private previews, dinners, personalized tours and Art & Design exhibitions.
- Strategize & acquire UHNI/HNI clients and maintain exceptional relationships with them by ensuring their satisfaction and fostering loyalty to the brand.
- Identify & collaborate with IDAs, galleries, artist and like-minded brands.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communications, interior design, business, or related fields.
- 7-12 years of experience in sales withing the architecture and interior design community (a focus on high-end residential clients and projects) preferred
- Strong network and relationship with interior designers creating high end residential projects.
- Extensive experience in engaging and working with IDAs community/Interior Designers doing high-end residential projects.
- Knowledge and experience of liaising and brand building with interior designers, architects, media and interior design-based groups, associations and organizations.
- Experience in acquiring UHNI clients & generating sales in luxury, art and design industries.
- Experience and ability in planning & executing high-end events and private previews.
- An ability to market & develop new business opportunities through networking, relationship building, collaborations.
- Excellent written & verbal communication, good personality, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple clients or projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Mindset & approach to be solution-driven. Adaptability, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for the luxury market in design.
