New York, NY | Working style: In-office with remote Fridays |   Travel – nationally and internationally

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated luxury Events Associate to join an established association and talented team empowering and supporting the architecture and design industry.

This Events Associate role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who excels at organizing events, managing logistics, and ensuring seamless execution. With strong communication skills, you enjoy collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and attendees to create impactful and memorable experiences. A Day in the Life
In this role, no two days will be the same. On any given day, you might:
  • Collaborate with the Director of Events to plan and execute the company’s signature events, including conferences, panel discussions, and networking gatherings.
  • Communicate with vendors, venues, and partners to manage contracts, timelines, and event details.
  • Coordinate event logistics, such as registration, travel arrangements, and on-site setup.
  • Support marketing and communications efforts to promote events and engage attendees.
  • Assist in managing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring events are executed within financial parameters.
  • Build relationships with members and partners, serving as a key point of contact for event-related inquiries.
  • Gather feedback and analyze event success to continuously enhance the experience.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or a related field.
  • You possess excellent organizational and project management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • You bring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • You are tech-savvy and comfortable using tools such as CRM systems, event management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • You are proactive and resourceful, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • You have a passion for design and an understanding of its importance in shaping culture and innovation.
  • You have a passport and are able to travel up to two to three times per year.
