Interior Architectural Detailer - Luxury Residential | Winter Park, FL
This Senior Interior Architectural Detailer is a high energy, positive-minded, self-directed leader, responsible for implementation and creation of project design on luxury private custom homes. Utilizing their successful track record with over 10,000 square foot custom home interiors this position requires in-depth knowledge of interior architecture and custom home construction. This Interior Detailer will demonstrate their abilities in professional client communication, budget management, space planning, material specification, furniture line knowledge and specification.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for producing architectural working drawings including all details for architectural interior projects. This includes millwork, tile, elevations, plans, sections, and RCPs
- Provide interior design concepts for ceilings, millwork, tile layout, flooring patterns, etc. and collaborate with Principal and Senior Designers to develop project-specific interior architectural designs.
- Review shop drawings from the cabinet and millwork companies
- Maintain/organize project files, schedules, and specifications
- Site visits and assisting in construction supervision
- Site survey/measures of existing conditions and producing drawings of same
- Work with the entire team, in-office and with outside consultants
- Proficient time management to facilitate working on multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, a related field or equivalent experience
- Min 4 years design detailing experience - luxury residential projects
- Organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, fast-paced team player
- Strong technical and practical AutoCAD skills with an understanding of architectural conventions, including floor plans, elevations, sections, RCP, electrical, and millwork
- Experience and interest in traditional and modern detailing
- Previous experience and deep understanding in relation to project construction and construction documentation including truss packages, load bearing walls, plate heights, HVAC configurations, etc.
- Strong understanding of and proficiency in producing all schedules
- Job site experience including working with architects, builders and landscape architects, measuring, and producing as-built documents
- Working knowledge of construction techniques and related coordinating details and dimensions
