The Interior Designer will manage residential projects which include new construction, remodels and interior selections including furniture, accessories, wallcoverings and more. This Interior Designer will be a key contributor to all phases of high-end residential interior design from initial design concept prior to construction, project management of the build, and sourcing furniture. This position offers an incredible opportunity for an energetic, motivated, and passionate individual to grow with an established, fun and well-respected design team that is growing.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team on residential projects from conception to installation
- Attending client meetings, builder meetings, site visits, visit showrooms, and vendor presentations
- Measuring spaces, taking notes, budgeting, etc.
- Space planning & drafting
- Preparing presentations (mood boards, digital layouts, samples, etc.)
- Pricing and sourcing products
- Interior hard surface selections for new construction
- Using our project management software and other tools
- Communicating with clients, builders, vendors etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, interior architecture, or related field
- 3+ years of interior design experience
- Software skills in Sketchup or a rendering/drafting software experience (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.); Microsoft Office Suite; Studio Designer a plus
- Excellent communicator from team members to clients, builders, subs, and vendors
- Ability to multi-task is a must
- Initiative and able to work independently
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
