This is an exciting opportunity for an Interior Designer to join a premier interior design firm specializing in luxury residential and commercial projects. The projects range from detailed construction documents to luxury specifications, with a strong focus on interior detailing through architecture and construction. Are you a creative and experienced Interior Designer looking to work with a luxury clientele?
We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our client’s team. In this role, you will work closely with the Principal Designer on various high-end projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing innovative design concepts.
  • Assisting with client presentations and meetings.
  • Acting as a secondary client liaison to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Sourcing materials, making selections, and preparing detailed proposals.
  • Leading project management and ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Preparing and updating project specifications and documentation.
  • Taking the lead on CAD and drawing tasks.
  • Creating and managing proposals and purchase orders.
  • Following up with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Coordinating installations and ensuring flawless execution.
  • Mentoring and guiding Junior Designers.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Interior Design.
  • 5 years of experience in interior design.
  • Previous experience with residential and commercial interior design.
  • NCIDQ certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Apple products/software and Microsoft Office; Knowledge of Studio Designer (training provided)
  • Key skills in abilities in field measuring and floor plan development
  • Construction knowledge on residential and boutique commercial projects
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to travel to job site visits in the Central Florida corridor.
