Are you a creative and experienced Interior Designer looking to work with a luxury clientele?
We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our client’s team. In this role, you will work closely with the Principal Designer on various high-end projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing innovative design concepts.
- Assisting with client presentations and meetings.
- Acting as a secondary client liaison to ensure client satisfaction.
- Sourcing materials, making selections, and preparing detailed proposals.
- Leading project management and ensuring projects stay on track.
- Preparing and updating project specifications and documentation.
- Taking the lead on CAD and drawing tasks.
- Creating and managing proposals and purchase orders.
- Following up with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinating installations and ensuring flawless execution.
- Mentoring and guiding Junior Designers.
- Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Interior Design.
- 5 years of experience in interior design.
- Previous experience with residential and commercial interior design.
- NCIDQ certification is a plus.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Apple products/software and Microsoft Office; Knowledge of Studio Designer (training provided)
- Key skills in abilities in field measuring and floor plan development
- Construction knowledge on residential and boutique commercial projects
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to travel to job site visits in the Central Florida corridor.
