As the Junior Interior Designer, you will impact various projects, from model homes to multifamily interior design. This Junior Interior Designer opportunity allows you to design and project manage from conception to installation. This role calls for an organized, exceptional eye for detail and a creative Interior Designer who will not only design and coordinate but also travel to the job sites to ensure everything is in line with the client's scope. Key Impact Areas
- Procurement of all furnishings, accessories, lighting, artwork & soft goods
- Project management from conception to installation, including working within timelines, communicating with vendors and contractors, and managing a budget.
- Collaborate with the team on community projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design
- 2+ years in the interior design industry
- Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit or SketchUp preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Knowledgeable in construction drawings, including millwork & electrical drawings
- Knowledge and experience in FF&E, selection and development
- Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability for traveling (driving & flying) - GA, SC, NC, VA, DC, PA, IL, FL (25-30% of time)
- Excellent Communication skills, written and verbal
- A team player and a positive attitude
