In this pivotal role, you'll
- Spearhead sales strategies across the corporate showrooms, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
- Embark on extensive travel, interfacing directly with elite clientele and nurturing relationships that reflect the brand's prestige
- Mentor and elevate your team, championing their growth while aligning their efforts with the company's visionary goals
- Embody the brand ethos in every interaction, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the legacy and future
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- A proven track record of sales leadership, 8-10+ years, in the luxury goods sector, preferably within home textiles or interior design.
- An innate ability to inspire and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative environment that brings out the best in each member.
- A deep appreciation for high-end design and the ability to articulate its value to discerning clients.
- Exceptional communication skills, adept at building relationships with both team members and high-profile customers.
- A strategic mindset, capable of analyzing market trends and adapting sales approaches to maximize growth.
- The stamina and enthusiasm for frequent travel, seeing it as an opportunity to spread the brand's influence.
- A genuine passion for our brand and a desire to become its most ardent advocate.
- Network, relationships, or memberships in DLN, NEWH, IIDA, ASID, AIA, IDS, and other industry associations.
- Experience initiating, cultivating, and sustaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships with the A&D community in these territories.
- A deep understanding of interior design principles, fabric specifications, and the mid to high-end market in both residential and commercial (especially corporate and hospitality).
- Knowledge and experience in liaising with interior designers, architects, specifiers, purchasing agents, and other design-based groups to deliver commercial and contract hospitality projects.
- An ability to act as an ambassador for the company, continually exceeding client expectations of our products and customer service.
- An ability to identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, relationship building, and a drive for results.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
