New Construction Sales Consultant | Boulder, CO

We're looking for a dynamic and relationship-driven New Construction Sales Consultant to help build strong partnerships with general contractors, builders, and architects for our client. In thriving within this role and our client's dynamic company, an individual driven by the desire to exceed expectations would align with this role. Key Responsibilities

Sales and Client Engagement:

  • Close at least $1.4 million in new construction sales annually, with a target of $2.5 million.
  • Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, architects, and builders to secure high-value residential projects.
  • Master the art of understanding and communicating new construction timelines, providing thorough consultations, and delivering an elevated customer experience.
  • Contact new leads within 1 business day and maintain consistent follow-up to build and nurture client relationships.

Proposal Preparation:

  • Prepare accurate installation quotes..
  • Provide comprehensive quotes to clients within 10 business days of receiving architectural plans, with timely communication for any necessary extensions.
  • Utilize sales resources such as product documents, Architectural Detail Manuals, and competitor websites to ensure competitive and accurate proposals.

Sales Management:

  • Leverage the CRM system to record client interactions, track leads, and manage sales activities effectively.
  • Use CRM data strategically to close deals and manage long-term client relationships.
  • Submit all necessary documentation promptly and accurately to the Operations Team.

Business Development:

  • Research and proactively target new clients and projects through cold calls, industry events, and strategic introductions.
  • Collaborate with architects to align offerings with their design intent, ensuring our products meet project requirements.
  • Prioritize high-potential leads and focus on driving sustained growth and repeat business.

Product & Technical Expertise:

  • Become an expert in the company's products and the difference, offering tailored solutions to fit client needs.
  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date on product offerings, installation processes, and industry trends.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, crafting professional and concise emails and proposals for clients and team members.
Qualifications
  • Ability and desire to understand technical products.
  • 3-5 years of proven sales experience with a structured sales process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Highly detailed mindset for understanding complex solutions.
  • Comfort in navigating challenging client situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective collaboration.
  • Aptitude for working with technology, including Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
  • Proficient in file management and cloud-based storage.
  • Proper written communication: ability to write effective, professional emails.
  • Developed touch typing skills.
  • Ability to modify and markup PDF documents.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to deadlines.
