Business Development Executive | Architectural Products – Stone & Tile
**Ability to travel to visit clients in the territory - typically 1 day at the showroom, 4 days visiting clients in the territory**
We seek a customer-focused Business Development Executive for our client's established but growing team. The company has a collaborative, engaging, challenging, and welcoming culture. The Business Development Architectural Executive is a skilled-level sales position and is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys selling beautiful, high-end products and can use their independent judgment and discretion to develop business with little to no supervision! This position is responsible for visiting, promoting, and handling complex sales activities with the trade industry outside our showrooms.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in business, architecture, interior design, or related field preferred.
- Three to five years’ sales experience in a wholesale environment/outside sales required.
- Prior experience working with the trade industry preferred.
- Experience in and knowledge of stone and tile; interior design background a plus
- The ability to read architectural plans are a plus.
- Excellent client service skills, people skills and enjoys building relationships.
- Effective communication skills
- Sales driven, goal oriented and successful at prospecting for new accounts.
- Detailed and excellent follow through
- Proficient using Microsoft Office
- Annual Salary + Commission Structure + Full Benefits Package
