This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated leader to join an established association and talented team empowering and supporting the architecture and design industry.
We seek for our client an outgoing, relationship-driven and charismatic industry leader/insider who enjoys connecting, networking, and building lasting relationships within the design and architecture industry.
The Partnership Director is responsible for lead generation and high-quality partnership recruitment, knowing the current partners and cultivating relationships to understand their mindset and needs, and executing various events and programs to support the retention and growth of the association’s partnerships and membership.
The Partnership Director is a pivotal individual for the association and be a direct link between partners, and the team to deliver the best possible membership experience across all facets of the organization. In this role, you will represent the association that champions community, collaboration, growth, and best practices in the high-end design industry by creating tailored experiences, educational programs, and resources for its partners who are industry products, manufacturing firms, resource companies for the design industry, principals of architecture, interior design, landscape architecture firms, affiliated disciplines, media partners, and corporate leaders.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of foundation leadership, business development, partnerships/sponsorship management, board leadership, or related experience
- Knowledge and passion for the design and architecture industry is required
- Independent, proactive and self-motivated person who will offer excellent service to our members
- Proven track record of cultivating relationships and ability to quickly develop rapport and credibility with prospects and current members
- Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation
- A goal driven individual
- Friendly and approachable as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and CRM Software
