Project Designer | Lafayette, CA
Sector focus: Residential
The Project Designer will work under the direction of the Principal Designer to lead design efforts for small to large sized construction and design projects. The Project Designer is responsible for conceptual development and execution of creative deliverables for the clients, using a wide breadth of skills within the design discipline.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in interior design or related field
- Must possess a minimum of five years of related experience in AutoCAD design & drafting.
- Must possess a minimum of five years working experience in the Residential Construction remodeling industry.
- Must be PC literate and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Experience with SketchUp 3D Design Software, Adobe Software (Photoshop), and knowledge of Build Trend software
- Must be knowledgeable in printing/plotting/scanning of construction drawings.
- Must have knowledge of current California residential building codes.
- Must be organized, detail oriented, flexible, and creative.
- Must have strong time management skills and be able to resolve conflicting priorities.
- Must be able to work well under pressure.
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a “can do” and positive attitude.
- Must be a team player who can work effectively with various members of the design and construction teams.
