Â
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Interior Designer/Project Manager to join an innovative design and architecture firm in Atlanta, GA. This internationally established firm provides services for corporate, commercial, hospitality, residential, industrial, government and educational projects – though this role will mainly focus on corporate interior design, hospitality and multifamily projects. The many longstanding relationships our client has developed with their clients reflect their ongoing commitment to quality design and responsive service.

We seek for our client an experienced interior designer with the ability to work on and oversee the development of a project in full, including all phases; specifically, construction documentation and specifications for corporate projects. This senior interior designer-project manager opportunity calls for individuals that have experience in managing designers and technical staff in all phases of a project. The ideal candidate enjoys working both collaboratively and independently and can manage and lead a team. An interior designer-project manager with an upbeat personality and direct communication style would be well-suited for this role.

Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience with the ability to work on and oversee the development of a project in full, including all phases - knowledge of hospitality and multi-family project types
- Proficient in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD and Revit, and Sketch Up.Â
- Positive Attitude with skills and temperament to work on a team as a member or leader.
- Strong Design aesthetic and ability to convey design intent.
- Ability to Interface with Clients, Contractors, and Consultants
- Will be responsible for understanding and interpreting the goals of a project into an appropriate design, while meeting budget and schedule.
- Possible travel, as required for projects.
- Will attend scheduled presentations when necessary to communicate design intent to client and design team.
- Familiar with ADA compliance and commercial building codes.
- Work with the design team to develop a design based on project criteria, program, and budget.
- Advise client on interior design factors such as space planning, layout, and utilization of furnishing.
- Coordinate design documents with engineers and various consultants.
- Review submittals and RFI’s for compliance with design intent, specifications, and documents.
- Direct and review design documents for content and accuracy and coordination with consultants.
