Senior Interior Designer | Dallas, TX
Type: 1099 role /30-40 hours weekly
Working Style: Remote Working Style in the Dallas area
We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design process from concept to completion, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and creativity. You will be responsible for space planning, client communication, comprehensive interior design, furniture selection, and FF&E specifications. This role is based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex with the flexibility for remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead space planning, interior design, and FF&E selection for projects across Multifamily Housing, Healthcare, and Hospitality sectors.
- Collaborate with clients to bring their vision to life while maintaining brand standards and aesthetics.
- Develop and present design concepts and materials to clients, effectively communicating the design narrative.
- Select and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that align with project goals and budgets.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain knowledge of current design trends, materials, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design, with a focus on Multifamily Housing, Healthcare, and Hospitality sectors.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in Furniture Selection and FF&E specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software (e.g., SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, preferably in the sectors mentioned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
