Senior Designer - Select Service, Hospitality Interior Design
Greater Chicago Area |Â Working Style: Hybrid
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Interior Designer in the select service, hospitality sector to join a growing and talented team. This opportunity calls for a Senior Designer with passion, critical thinking, integrity, and curiosity. As a part of the interiors team, you are an integral part of the collaborative design process across all phases of select service hospitality design projects. You will leverage your industry expertise and guide junior designers while ensuring attention to detail and effective communication. You will actively manage multiple design projects, alongside the Studio Lead, with an eye towards profitability and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in design and project management, preferably in Select Service or hospitality sectors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of construction documents, detailing, and design standards.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, and industry representatives.
- Experience maintaining detailed records of project timelines and contractual obligations.
- Willingness to attend industry conferences and represent the company professionally.
- Familiarity with Select Service design standards and hospitality-specific workflows is required
