We’re hiring for our client — a leading Dallas-based residential design studio known for creating soulful, story-driven interiors that reflect authenticity, comfort, and a deep sense of place.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Interior Designer who thrives in a collaborative, solutions-oriented environment. You’ll join a team of kind, authentic professionals who combine creativity with technical expertise to deliver extraordinary design experiences.
The ideal candidate is confident leading complex projects, mentoring junior designers, and managing every detail from concept to completion — all while maintaining transparency, grace, and professionalism in every client interaction.
What You’ll Do

Lead high-end residential projects from concept through completion with minimal supervision.

Develop thoughtful, story-driven design concepts rooted in the client’s lifestyle and the studio’s elevated aesthetic.

Mentor and guide junior designers, delegating work effectively while fostering professional growth.

Conceptualize design ideas through mood boards, hand sketching, and 3D renderings (bonus).

Oversee space planning, budgeting, scheduling, and project documentation, partnering closely with CAD designers.

Select and specify finishes, materials, and furnishings — with an expert eye for quality, craftsmanship, and scale.

Communicate directly with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure design intent is executed seamlessly.

Prepare detailed design and construction documents to deliver clear, actionable design solutions.

Lead client meetings, presentations, and site visits with professionalism and confidence.

Manage time and materials budgets, track hours through Studio Designer, and maintain project profitability.

Administer contract documents, bids, and construction administration tasks, including reviewing shop drawings and submittals.
Qualifications

5–7+ years of professional experience in residential interior design (high-end or luxury preferred).

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field (preferred but not required).

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Excel, PowerPoint, Asana, Slack, and Google Workspace.

Familiarity with Studio Designer is a plus.

Strong understanding of design process, materials, FF&E, and project management.

Excellent communication skills — verbal, written, and visual — with confidence discussing budgets and scope.

Ability to balance creativity with accountability, managing multiple projects and deadlines with ease.

Resilient and resourceful, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
