Southwest Regional Sales Manager | Design Industry: Textiles & Home Furnishings
Dallas, TX | Full-time |  Remote working in the market with travel
We seek for our growing client an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow their Dallas market presence in the design industry, specializing in textiles and home furnishings. This role is responsible for managing a team of three sales professionals, driving strategic sales and marketing initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client experiences. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a background in luxury sales, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to inspire a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership
- Coach, mentor, and develop the regional sales team to enhance expertise and achieve sales targets.
- Inspire a culture of collaboration, accountability, and flexibility, adapting leadership style to meet team needs.
- Establish a world-class service culture where the client experience is always the highest priority.
Commercial
- Own responsibility for achieving regional sales targets and financial objectives.
- Monitor performance metrics, proactively taking corrective action when needed.
- Resolve escalated client issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies that align with brand standards to drive sales locally, nationally, and globally.
- Oversee execution of marketing, public relations, and event initiatives in the region.
Operations
- Manage the daily operations of the region, ensuring both front-of-house and back-of-house standards are consistently met.
- Ensure showroom merchandising and displays meet visual guidelines and reflect brand identity.
- Lead timely and accurate execution of promotional campaigns.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales management experience, preferably within the design, interior, or luxury home furnishings industries.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in luxury retail or interior sales.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to deliver results through people.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Business-focused mindset with a balance of strategic and hands-on execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Google Suite. Experience with SAP is a plus (training provided).
