Studio Leader - Select Service, Hospitality Interior Design

As the Studio Lead of Select Service, you drive operational excellence, lead the design team, and ensure project success. This role oversees the overall Design process for our Select Service Hospitality clients, including project timelines, design standards and consistency, and client deliverables. Essential to your success is leading a Design studio, including team performance, recruitment, and professional development. Acting as a key liaison between design teams, senior leadership, and clients, the Studio Lead ensures efficient workflows, accurate billing, and adherence to company standards. With authority over contracts, approvals, and process improvements, this role fosters collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth within the team and organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in design, project management, or studio leadership, preferably in Select Service or hospitality sectors.
- Strong understanding of construction documents, detailing, and design standards.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, and industry representatives.
- Experience maintaining detailed records of project timelines and contractual obligations.
- Willingness to attend industry conferences and represent the company professionally.
- Familiarity with Select Service design standards and hospitality-specific workflows is required
